Vietnam War US Soldiers: Operations in the Delta

About the creator

Hello everyone! I’m estorilmad, and I’m passionate about scale modeling, historical wargaming, and military history, particularly the Vietnam War era. I’ve spent years collecting, painting, and designing miniatures, and this project stems from a personal frustration: the lack of American infantry miniatures on the market that truly capture the tension, realism, and dynamism of an actual jungle patrol, avoiding those typical, boring, static poses.

Why this project is important to me

The Vietnam War is one of the most complex and widely studied conflicts in modern history, yet board games and wargames often fail to do justice to the human element and the tactical atmosphere of its reconnaissance patrols (LRRPs, mobile infantry, etc.).For me, this project is about more than just releasing digital files or miniatures; it is a tribute to historical accuracy and a salute to the modelers and collectors who seek pieces with soul. We wanted every miniature to tell a story: a boot sinking into the mud, the tension in the undergrowth, the silent communication between soldiers... Creating these 30 unique figures has been an immense artistic challenge, one that I am now eager to share with the global community of enthusiasts.

The project: 30 high-quality STL figures of U.S. troops from the Vietnam War

This Kickstarter project brings to life an exclusive collection of 30 STL miniatures, depicting U.S. Army and Marine Corps infantry from the Vietnam War, digitally sculpted with an extreme level of detail and ready for 3D printing, allowing every backer to print them at any scale they choose, right at home.

30 STL files (1:35 scale): Ready for direct printing. They have been thoroughly tested to ensure a 100% success rate, ideal if you prefer to orient the parts to your liking, use your own support settings, or rescale the miniatures to fit other game systems (such as 28mm or 54mm).

To begin this journey, we want to show you a selection of the 30 figures that will form part of this definitive collection. Each one tells a different story about the terrain.

Here are some images of the 1/35 scale printed prototypes, ready to come to life in your dioramas and display cases.
