Être prévenu du lancementStatut actuel
Kick off the spooky season with a new range of blood-curdling horror miniatures from Crooked Dice!
With this campaign, we hope to fund the production of FIFTEEN highly detailed 28mm white metal miniatures.
Sculpts have been brought to life by the very talented Luis Fernando Souza Bittencourt and rewards will be cast in white metal - or available a STL files. All miniatures are supplied unpainted.
All miniatures are 28mm scale. We measure that from the base of the foot to eye - so a figure stands approximately 32mm tall. Comparable ranges are Wargames Atlantic's plastics, Hasslefree, Copplestone and Artizan. All are supplied with 25mm round slottabases.
Funding Goal
This project's aim is to fund the fifteen 28mm white metal miniatures shown above. We need £1,000 to achieve this funding goal.
Pledge Levels
This is a simple miniatures led campaign with just three tiers.
1. Physical Miniatures Pledge
Fifteen iconic 28mm scale vampires and slayers cast in white metal, supplied unpainted with 25mm plastic slottabases.
2. Digital Miniatures Pledge
Fifteen iconic 28mm vampires and slayers STLS. Files will be provided in both supported, unsupported and in lychee format. All digital rewards will be fulfilled via the Crooked Dice MyMiniFactory page.
3. All-In Pledge
Fifteen iconic 28mm vampires and slayers in BOTH white metal and STL and a lovely discount!
4. Painted Pledge
Receive a painted set of the fifteen iconic 28mm vampires and slayers in white metal! We have TWENTY PAINTED SETS of miniatures on offer. Once they're gone, they're gone! Simply include this Add-On to your rewards when making your pledge! Please note that you will not receive these in addition to the core set in your pledge.
Figures will be professionally painted in acrylics and varnished to protect them from tabletop trauma. We appreciate that this is a pricier luxury reward, but when you deduct the retail price of these, it's still well under a tenner per painted figure!
The twelve figures will be expertly painted by professional painter Jon Atter. Jon has worked with Crooked Dice for over 15 years and painted hundreds of figures in my personal collection! He’s also worked for a number of other miniature companies painting their display models - and I think you'll agree, his brushwork is of an amazing quality! Just check out some of his previous work from the Crooked catalogue.
Why no stretch goals?
This is a short and simple campaign, so we are just offering these new miniatures at a discount and will not be including any stretch goals this time around.
Who are Crooked Dice?
Crooked Dice Game Design Studio has been part of the wargaming hobby since 2010. We specialise in wargames rules and 28mm miniatures inspired by the many and varied iconic worlds of cult TV and film. We have a range of over 2000 miniatures and an extensive selection of resin terrain and vehicles. We publish the 7TV series of wargames. These fun and flexible skirmish rules allow you to recreate any type of cinematic action on the tabletop.
Why Kickstarter?
Kickstarter has been chosen as a way to help fund production of this new miniature range. We have found that successful funding via Kickstarter is the quickest way to deliver more products than if we used our traditional release schedule.
So simply more stuff, much faster! Plus the reach of Kickstarter is huge, and a community in itself, so we hope it will introduce Crooked Dice to a whole new audience.
Our Creatives
We are lucky enough to work with some very talented sculptors, painters and illustrators who help bring our projects to life.
- Miniature sculpts by Luis Fernando Souza Bittencourt.
- The painting of any display models (sorry folks - the physical pledge minis all come unpainted) has been brought to you by the talents of Mystic Spirals.
Production schedule
This is the production schedule for this campaign:
- October 2026 - Kickstarter campaign
- November 2026 - Pledge manager. This will be hosted on the Crooked Dice webstore. It is vital all backers complete this stage - otherwise we simply will not know where to send your rewards. This is also when backers pay for shipping and any customs charges (US backers only).
- February 2027 - Fulfilment of physical and STL rewards
We will notify about the fulfilment of rewards after the campaign via your Kickstarter messages mailbox and the updates page. Please check that the email you have registered with kickstarter is still current to ensure you receive all the information needed to complete your pledge.
Shipping
As a long standing mail order business with a successful web store, we ship packages all over the world, every day. So you can rest assured that your parcels are in good hands and will reach you safely. We always try and charge a flat rate - or pack in multiple parcels if cheaper for you.
Shipping and any customs charges will be added AFTER the Kickstarter, so is NOT included in your pledge. Shipping costs will be calculated by weight and size of your pledge plus any variables that you may add in the webstore during the pledge manager stage. Where this requires multiple small parcels to fulfil, additional costs may be required.
US Tariffs
Due to the suspension of De Minimis on small packages under the value of $800 from 29th August 2025, US backers will be subject to import duties on their rewards. The Executive Order dated 30th July has removed the option to ship parcels through the International Postal System as DDU - Delivered Duty Unpaid, therefore all parcels shipped to the US from August 29th must be DDP - Delivered Duty Paid.
US customers will be charged a tariff charge on the total of their goods plus shipping placed during the final pledge manager stage via the Crooked Dice webstore. At time of writing (27th February) this is 10 percent of the full pledge cost (products + shipping). However, tariffs from the US administration may be subject to change.
All US customers orders will be sent through the Royal Mail Delivered Duties Paid (DDP) service which will include all required customs information to ensure parcels are processed correctly and arrive safely.
