WHY WE'RE MAKING THIS

Nistar Entertainment was founded out of a love for tabletop role-playing games and the adventures that made us want to keep playing.

We grew up with games that weren't afraid to challenge their players. Games filled with strange worlds, dangerous dungeons, wonderful illustrations, mysterious artifacts, and encounters that demanded more than a good character sheet.

We remember those adventures not because they were easy, but because they made us work for every victory.

That's the spirit behind The Lichseed Trilogy.

Our goal isn't to reinvent what makes tabletop role-playing special. We're building on that tradition, creating adventures that combine the atmosphere and challenge of classic gaming with new worlds, original stories, and unexpected horrors.

Shadowdark is a natural home for that philosophy.
