« Primary Potions » est un jeu de cartes coloré, alliant stratégie légère et informations ouvertes, articulé autour du cercle chromatique. Mélangez des ingrédients et utilisez des potions pour affronter vos amis et devenir le Maître Alchimiste suprême. Tous les paquets de cartes sont disposés au centre, à la portée de tous. Les alchimistes commencent également avec 3 cartes d'ingrédients différentes (rouge, jaune, bleu) : celles-ci constituent la base de chaque potion et peuvent s'avérer très efficaces si elles sont utilisées à bon escient. Le gameplay est rapide et simple : chaque joueur dispose d'une seule action et de deux options seulement : « Préparer une potion » ou « Utiliser une potion ». Cela réduit la durée des tours de chaque joueur, ce qui permet de faire avancer la partie et garantit que chaque joueur puisse effectuer son action rapidement. Préparer une potion : les alchimistes préparent leurs potions en s’inspirant du cercle chromatique et en mélangeant les couleurs de peinture. Ils placent des cartes « composant » de leur main dans le pot central en échange de jusqu’à 7 potions différentes. Utiliser une potion : les alchimistes utilisent leurs potions en les replaçant dans le pot central et en déclenchant l’effet de celle-ci. Ces effets peuvent les aider eux-mêmes, gêner les autres alchimistes, ou les deux à la fois. Chaque effet de potion est expliqué sur la carte elle-même afin de limiter la consultation du livret de règles et d’assurer un déroulement fluide de la partie. Bien que le jeu soit conçu pour 6 joueurs, « Primary Potions » peut facilement être étendu pour accueillir davantage de participants en ajoutant simplement un autre paquet de cartes. —description fournie par l’éditeur

Primary Potions

Primary Potions is a colorful light strategy open information card game based around the color wheel. Mix components and use potions to combat your friends to become the Prime Master Alchemist.
 

 

Gameplay

Ages 6+          20 Minute Playtime          2-6 Players

All the decks are set out in the center for everyone to reach. Alchemists also start with 3 different component cards (Red Yellow Blue) these are the basis of every potion and can be put to great effect if properly used. 

Gameplay is fast and easy with only 1 action each and only 2 options, Make a potion or Use a potion. This reduces player turn time keeping the game going and makes sure every player gets their action out quickly. 

Mixing a potion: Alchemists mix potions by using the idea of the color wheel and mixing colors of paint. Placing component cards from their hands to the center pot in exchange for up to 7 different potions. 

Using a Potion: Alchemists use potions by placing them back into the center pot and completing the effect of that potion. These effects may help themselves, hinder other Alchemists or a combination of both. 

Each potion effect is explained on the card itself to reduce rulebook reading and to keep the game running smoothly. 

Although the game is set up for 6 players, Primary Potions can easily be expanded upon itself to accommodate more people just by adding another deck.

- Primary Potions is a fantastic color based light strategy game, fun for the whole family!

- Although Primary potions can be stacked and play up to 12 people, paying 7 or 8 is a bit tricky to balance so this expansion will make it a bit easier to run those games. 
- If you want to keep the shiny cards shiny and still play with 2-8 players, this is the expansion for you. 
- Adding 6 new colors to this already colorful game, Tertiary Twist will liven up the gameplay and add a plethora of new strategy to the game. 
- the final goal and the completion of the work. this will add a shiny variant to ALL versions of the game and allow you to play in absolute shiny luxury!
