Overview
What's the game about?
Penguin Airlines is a real-time communication game played in teams. During your turn, one player is the Control Tower and draws a Flight Instruction card. The rest of the team becomes the Cabin Crew and operates a cockpit built from nine double-sided control-panel cards.
The catch is simple: the Tower cannot show the card, point to the correct panel, or tell the crew where it sits. They have to describe what they can see, then the Cabin Crew must find the matching controls and carry out the instruction before the 30-second timer runs out.
Every completed card earns a time counter that can keep the turn alive. Complete five cards for a clean landing and a chance at bonus points. Press the wrong control and your finger stays stuck there, blocking the cockpit. Make a second mistake and the turn ends.
Why you'll love the game
Frantic Real-Time Action: Every turn begins with just 30 seconds on the clock. Complete an instruction to earn a time counter, then decide when to spend it to keep the turn going. The pressure builds naturally as your team gets closer to the five-card limit.
Asymmetric Communication: The Control Tower knows what must happen but cannot touch the cockpit. The Cabin Crew can reach every control but cannot see the instruction card. Success depends on a clear communication between both teams!
Modular Control Panel: Build the cockpit from nine double-sided panel cards and arrange them in different layouts. As your team learns the controls, change the setup or add the expansion panels and instruction cards for a busier flight deck.
Hilarious Penalty System: Press the wrong control and leave your finger stuck on it for the rest of the turn. The mistake does not just cost you, it blocks your view and forces the whole crew to work around an increasingly awkward cockpit. A second mistake ends the turn.

How to play
Split into teams. One player takes the Flight Instruction deck and becomes the Control Tower. Their teammates becomes the Cabin Crew and takes the timer and time counters. Start the 30-second timer when everyone is ready.
The Control Tower draws a card and guides the Cabin Crew without showing it, pointing to the panel, or naming its position in the cockpit. Describe the pictured controls clearly and quickly.
The Cabin Crew scans the modular cockpit, presses the correct buttons, and moves the pictured controls into position. Complete the card to earn a time counter, then draw the next instruction immediately.
Spend a time counter to restart the timer. Your turn ends when you complete five cards, run out of time, or make a second mistake. Score 1 point per completed card. If you finish all five, each unused time counter is worth 1 bonus point. Swap roles next round.
