OPERATION NIMROD, THE MINIATURES
Operation Nimrod resulted resulted from the hostile takeover of The Iranian Embassy from April 30th to May 5th, 1980. Iranian Arabs campaigning for the sovereignty of the Khuzestan Province of Iran, took 26 people hostage. They demanded the release of prisoners in Khuzestan and their own safe passage out of the United Kingdom. The British government quickly decided not to negotiate with the terrorists and instead sent in the elite SAS. On the sixth day of the siege, the SAS breached the Embassy from the roof, yes the roof. The absolute mad lads repelled from the roof and forced entry through the windows. During the 17-minute raid, they rescued all but one of the remaining hostages and killed five of the six hostage-takers.
Our simple campaign aims to bring you a set of SAS operators inspired by this daring raid. The miniatures will be available as digital STL's for 3D printing or physical resin 3D printed miniatures. Act fast though as STL's will ONLY be available during the campaign.

The set is comprised of 12 miniatures.

Designed for Battle! These miniatures are designed to stand up to the rigorous task that is miniature wargaming. Weapons and other small details are enlarged to prevent them from easily breaking.
These miniatures are designed with that distinct 80's look but don't necessarily need to represent only the operators during Operation Nimrod. Paint them black and you have a ethically ambiguous corporate kill squad perfect for post apocalyptic wargames. Perhaps you have to send in a squad to raid a shipping freighter which may or may not be harboring a nuclear device? The only limit really is your imagination.
