It's simple; Mi-box Live wants to add more curriculum topics built in the existing app catering for the UK and US grading system. (worded problems for our fans to solve) we have "number covered" but we want to add Algera, Ratio, proportion and rate of change, geometry and measure, probabilty and statistics so you can learn maths in a fun, spory way. 

The game comes as a 1–20 times-table track and card game. The hybrid (app) offers a Performance Centre (find your level), Training Zone (practise +, −, ×, ÷ up to Grade 6), and a Maths Sport Challenge competition arena (using function machines, working the number from left to right, up to Grade 6). Topic areas include: add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions, %, decimals, negative numbers, roots (√), square roots, numbers in written form and cube numbers.

Our Story

Hi, my name is Chris. I was a good sportsman, but struggled to read and write at school. As a result I struggled to understand maths questions, even though I could do the maths. This made me quite nervous and anxious turning up to these lessons and the only tools in the tool kit I had was my grandad’s baccy tin, with words in it to help me learn the basics. Not the best! And yes, you guessed correctly I had to resit my exams, but I never gave up trying to learn! I became a Teacher!

In 2011, I ran an after school club to help students improve their numeracy skills. Doing work sheets was boring and this is when the fun began and Mi-box Live was born. It has evolved ever since, helping all kinds of learners engage in maths in a fun, sporty way. 

In April 2022 after winning the innovate UK award of £50,000 it was time to go all in and design the best hybrid maths sport challenge board and app on the planet. I am proud to say I have got Mi-box Live to market, but there is much much more to achieve with your help and backing. This is know my full time job and ive found my place making learning fun.
