Founded in 2015, the organization has become a community institution, hosting regular and special events that draw hundreds of participants throughout the year. Their efforts have raised funds for charitable causes like the Home of the Innocents and the Boys and Girls Club, and support initiatives such as Next Gen Nerd. Nerd Louisville also serves as a hub for local nerds of all ages, fostering connections, friendships, and shared interests.

Why do I mention Nerd Louisville? 5% of the profits from this Kickstarter will go directly to Nerd Louisville, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to building community and educational opportunities through creative and engaging activities. By supporting this Kickstarter, you’re not only backing an exciting new Dragonbane project but also contributing to a cause that helps make Louisville a hub for young nerds and lifelong fans of tabletop games, comics, and other creative hobbies. This contribution will help Nerd Louisville continue its mission to inspire, educate, and create connections through a shared love of “nerdy” passions in the Louisville area.

Midgar Press LLC began as the lifelong dream of Jonathon Myhre—known in many realms as Mr. Dragonbane—but it has since become a shared vision, co-owned alongside Bill Henderson of the noble House of Hender. Together, they have transformed this venture from a personal project into a thriving creative collective.

Midgar Press LLC is not a solitary stage but a shared platform—an open invitation to writers, designers, and worldbuilders to collaborate, create, and carve their names into the mythos of tabletop gaming. With too many ideas and never enough time, Jonathon and Bill continue to expand the reach of Midgar Press LLC, one saga at a time.

When he’s not writing or running games, Bill enjoys life in Louisville with his wife and two daughters -- and can occasionally be found behind a soundboard or under a stack of campaign notes. Be careful out there.
