Drinking & Dragons + Colm Hell Or High Water

Two albums. One campaign.

Following Space Shanties, Colm R. McGuinness is bringing two more albums to your record shelf: Drinking & Dragons and Colm Hell Or High Water. This Kickstarter brings their limited campaign editions and collector rewards together, so you can choose the album that speaks to you—or join us for both.

Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Colm is a singer, performer, multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer whose music spans traditional Irish folk, Nordic folk and metal, sea shanties and rock. From his rendition of Hoist the Colours to fantasy-inspired songs, his work brings together a broad vocal range, layered instrumentation and a love of storytelling.

Space Shanties was Colm’s first album campaign for physical formats. With 1,727 backers pledging $110,554, it showed how much enthusiasm there is for holding this music in your hands. This time, there are two worlds to explore.

Drinking & Dragons

For the adventurers, tavern regulars and anyone who never quite manages to stay on the main quest. Drinking & Dragons brings Colm’s fantasy and tabletop-inspired music to CD and Kickstarter limited edition vinyl, with rewards made for the world around the songs.

Each album’s Kickstarter edition includes its own exclusive song for backers. The Drinking & Dragons limited signature editions feature Colm’s printed signature as part of the artwork; they are not hand-signed.

Colm Hell Or High Water

For those drawn to sea shanties and songs of the sea, Colm Hell Or High Water offers another side of Colm’s music. Choose the album on CD or Kickstarter limited edition vinyl, including its own Kickstarter-exclusive song, or explore its album-art clothing and collector rewards.

Choose your collection

Start with either album on CD for $30, or both CDs for $50.

For either album, the $100 Physical Bundle includes the CD, limited edition vinyl, digital album and instrumentals. The $175 Merch Bundle adds the album’s shirt and smaller merch items. The $250 Collector Bundle brings together that album’s full campaign collection, including your name in the physical credits.

Drinking & Dragons collectors receive custom dice and a koozie alongside the shirt, stickers and embroidered patch. Colm Hell Or High Water collectors receive an album-art hoodie and an exclusive transparent lathe-cut 7-inch alongside the shirt and stickers. Shirts are available from XS to 3XL.

Want both albums? The combined Physical, Merch and Collector bundles are $175, $300 and $425. The item lists in each reward show exactly what is included.

CD and vinyl add-ons are also available, including Space Shanties and Tavern Crawl CDs and Space Shanties vinyl, subject to available stock.

What your pledge supports

This campaign funds the manufacture and preparation of the physical campaign editions and their rewards: CD production, vinyl pressing, printed packaging and merchandise. We are working with Allotment Productions on production and fulfilment.

Delivery and shipping

CD-only rewards have an estimated delivery of December 2026. Rewards containing vinyl have an estimated delivery of January 2027, allowing more time for pressing. These are estimates, and we will keep backers informed if the schedule changes.

Shipping will be charged during the Kickstarter pledge process. Please check your selected reward and destination before backing. After the campaign, the backer survey will collect the details needed to prepare your rewards, including shirt sizes where applicable.

Thank you

Whether you are here for a tavern singalong, a sea shanty, or the full collection, thank you for helping bring these albums into the physical world.
