Welcome to the world of Bagabazos!
Are you ready to engage in a magical clash for control over power fields on an ancient arena?
Bagabazos is a strategic board game where you command your own group of magical beings – imps, golems, and djinn – represented by dice. Your goal is to take control of power fields, and each turn challenges you with tactical decisions: move a figure, cast a spell, claim territory, or attack your opponent. Even a small misstep or one careless move could determine your victory.
- The game combines tactics, randomness, and area control.
- Each player has their own spell deck (21 cards) and set of figures (3d4, 2d6, 1d8).
- Six different boards plus one modular map where players build their arena before the game begins.
- Designed for 2 to 4 players.
- Game duration: 30–60 minutes.
Gain the upper hand, cast your spells, defeat your rivals, and feel the power of Bagabazos!
Origin of the Name "Bagabazos"
The name Bagabazos comes from an inscription found on an ancient terracotta tablet discovered in Daskylion – a city in what is now Turkey. Around 2,500 years ago, the tablet was used for a dice-based board game. The inscription, written in the Phrygian alphabet, can be translated as “Bagabazos dice game” or “Bagabazos – player of dice”. Bagabazos was a Persian general during the reign of King Darius I and is believed to have been the owner of this game.
Playtesters' feedback
In developing a game, the most important thing is the feedback from the players who test it:

- “Incredibly surprising, with very few rules — unpredictable.”
- “With a single move, you can gain a lot, but you can lose even more!”
- “It seems simple, but it can really surprise you!”
- “The rules are very accessible, but you have to think a lot during the game.”
- “This game is absolutely dripping with strategy!”
